store nearly two decades later, it’s clear that LSPACE has truly become an enduring icon, standing the test of time.
1999
Monica Wise founded LSPACE! As an
avid sunshine and bikini lover, her
earliest styles were simple, reversible triangle tops and skimpy bottoms.
2008
The launch of our iconic fringe styles!
The idea originated with Monica’s vision of creating a bikini that had some sort
of fun movement.
2008
We headed to Miami for our first runway show at Miami Swim week where we featured multiple fringe bikinis and one pieces in various colors and styles.
2011
We introduced our first
eco-friendly fabric “Slinky Solid”.
This collection included Dolly Bandeau in burnt orange, royal blue and grey.
2015
Popular tabloids captured a shot of
Rihanna paddleboarding in LSPACE fringe bikinis. That year we sold nearly 90,000 swimsuits!
2020
We said goodbye to our first office in
Irvine, California and moved into our new headquarters a few towns away in Costa Mesa, California.
2024
We opened a brick and mortar
retail store at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, California. This was the brands first flagship store!

featuring the now-iconic fringe bikini. That year alone, nearly 90,000 units of the Audrey fringe top were sold, cementing LSPACE as a must-have swimwear brand, loved by celebrities and beach
lovers alike.
