Resort '20 Design Inspiration

“We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.” – Jawaharial Nehru

If there's one thing that defines the L*SPACE girl, it's that she adores a life of style and adventure - and travel is her ultimate luxury. So our talented design team - Alissa, Oanh, and Sunny - packed their bags and zipped around the globe to find inspiration for our latest Resort 2020 collection. From trendy London eateries to vibrant markets in Old Ibiza Town, they took it all in and came back with a renewed vision that informed our newest styles. Keep reading to follow along on their journey!

A cultural melting pot, our team found inspo around every corner in London. While it's not the tropical destination you might expect our warm-weather-lovin' brand to visit, it was the perfect choice for its vibrant art scene and unparalleled vintage shopping.

A trip to sketch was a must. The restaurant-gallery had the best food on the trip, and taking in David Shrigley artworks while dining was a unique experience. Oh, and those futuristic space pods? They're actually fully-functioning loos.

London's famous Portobello Road is one of the most famous markets in the world. Our designers scoured racks upon racks of amazing vintage finds dating from the mid-1800s to the 1960s.

The team also stopped by the famous department store Liberty London. Known for their eclectic floral fabrics and rich history, the shopping mecca provided some serious print inspo (bonus points if you remember our Liberty collab from a few years back!)

Then the team made their way to warmer terrain on the scenic Spanish island of Ibiza, where they scoped out swimwear to see what's trending. Taking in spectacular views at Sunset Ashram beach and eating lots of local seafood was on the agenda.

Then they visited Old Ibiza Town, taking in sights of whitewashed architecture and medieval fortresses. And of course, more shopping was in order - in tiny local beachside boutiques and village markets.

COLOR, COLOR, COLOR. Ibiza was a dream dripping with warm shades and cheerful brights. Their hotel, the hip Los Enamorados, had an Ibizan flair with pops of Japanese influence.
