• 1-2 bottles of crisp white wine, I used 1 bottle Sauvignon Blanc and 1 bottle of sparkling Vino Verde
• 2 ripe local peaches, sliced
• 1 pint raspberries
• 2 kiwis
• several sprigs of mint
• NuNaturals Alcohol Free Stevia

Simply add the sliced fruit and mint to the wine and add several squirts of NuNaturals Alcohol Free Stevia until desired sweetness is reached. Let sit for at least an hour in the fridge to let the flavors infuse. In the summertime it’s also nice to freeze half of the fruit and add right before serving so they act as ice cubes in the Sangria.

Maui Babe Bronzing Lotion: We grew up in the 80’s and absolutely LOVE our tans!  We stay safe with SPF 30 but get our bronze on by slathering a little Maui Babe bronzing lotion on top of our screen.  Smells great and gives you a total NARS body glow vibe for about 1/10 the cost.

“Grace” by Grace Coddington: We love books, we love fashion.  We love fashion books.

Bob Marley “Songs of Freedom” box set: 78 of the hands down most mellow tunes ever made.  Never gets old.

Mexican blankets from Sayulita: For beach blankets, we live and die by these striped Mexican blankets.  Lightweight, washable, great color combos and only 50 pesos.  They usually cost about $70 if you get them in the US, so we prefer to stock up in Mama Mexico and hoard our stash.

Recently, we had the absolute pleasure of an impromptu visit from one of Southern California’s most fabulous bikini models – the Divine Miss Ashlyn! Monica had been working on the top-secret Project Baby L Fringe Bikini for months, and it was time to fit it on Ashlyn to make sure it was the absolute height of presh.

First things first – Ashlyn had to make sure that the Baby L wouldn’t clash with her doll bestie, Jessica. Check!

Next, Ashlyn wanted to talk styling options. Could the Baby L Fringe top be worn with jeans for a casual and sassy look? Yes, Ashlyn. A thousand times yes.

After building the maximum amount of suspense, Ashlyn modeled the most adorable thing to ever happen on planet Earth (ok, we’re biased) – the Baby L Fringe Bikini! Ashlyn, her mom Brooke, and her doll bestie Jessica all agreed that Monica had truly outdone herself this time, and that all of the in-the-know miniature fashionistas are going to be clamoring for Baby L Fringe in Watermelon this summer.

Ashlyn made sure to check on when the bikini will ship to retailers before leaving (it ships on 4/15, don’t worry, Ashlyn!) and then headed out to catch a ballet class. The life of a model! Until next time, Miss A!
